We've been busy!
Mike is a GREAT Cook and is always making special treats and dinners for Lilly and I. Mike made us butterfinger blizzards, and Lilly LOVED it. She got to have the first taste and was hooked.
We LOVE Walter Wick, maybe someday Mike will work for him..... (a girl can dream, right) :)
We transplanted our bean plants from the greenhouse to outside. The probably wont make it, but they were overtaking the entire greenhouse. So we had fun planting them and playing in the dirt.
Mike decided to read Lilly all of our library books one evening and Lilly was so tired she fell asleep while listening. I think she's had a busy week :) Labels: Foto Friday
I found Lilly in her room. This outfit says it all, she is a total girl, but also LOVES her tools. She is a little tinker fairy princess.
This picture is a true testament at how gentle Bryn is, she will let Lilly do anything to her, even sit on her :) What a good doggy.
I used to think Lilly was ambidextrous, but now I think she is quadibextrous :) :)
Lilly LOVES to pop popcorn in our new airpopper, for some reason she thinks it's one of the coolest things ever. I like it too, it's healthier and kind of like using a power tool in the kitchen :)
Unfortulately, Lilly was a little freaked out by Santa and I had to sit next to Santa while holding a very nervous little girl. She warmed up a little, but not enough for me to leave her there for a good picture. Lilly did manage to tell Santa that she wanted mega blocks and told him thank you for the candy. She also told Santa that she wasn't going to smile for the camera, or for Daddy - yup my almost three year old has an opinion :) She did look adorable and we had fun, ah the memories.
Our Christmas tree is re-decorated multiple times daily :) Lilly loves to hang the candy canes and can hardly wait until Christmas when she can eat them.
Today I wanted to wash some of Lilly's toys. So I had Lilly do it for me :) Mike gave her a little scrubbing brush and I filled up a cup with warm soapy water and Lilly played/worked for an hour! It was so great, my floor was mopped and Lilly's barn and animals (and one monster truck) are all clean.
My Left arm didn't look too bad...
Here's my left hand, I also had blood draws on my right hand but couldn't take a clear enough picture of it by myself :P
My right arm was the WORST! It's looking a lot better now, but for a few days it was so sore. Trust me, my practice patients didn't look this bad.
Don't you just love her blue leotard, it was the only on in a size XXS. We arrived for class a little early so Lilly and I waited on the bleachers and watched the earlier class. She could hardly wait to start, but did a great job waiting patiently. She also helped a little kid who had fallen off of the bleachers. They dropped their apple and Lilly told their mommy and went and picked it up for her, it was very sweet :) People are always amazed at how polite Lilly is. She has such good manners and is such a friendly girl.
So Mike just asked her what would make her tummy feel better and she told him Macaroni and Cheese :) So being the wonderful father he is, Mike made her Macaroni and Cheese for breakfast, and she ate it all up :)

We made Stop & Go signs for Lilly to play with and she LOVES them! It's pretty amazing what some construction paper and sticks can do for a 2-year-old :)
We've been using Lilly's ABC squares for train tracks, Lilly has me hold up the Stop and Go signs and she will run around the 'track' as fast as she can and then stop when the stop sign goes up, it's pretty funny. Lilly tried the other day to do this game while in her princess shoes, she is pretty good a running in heels. That is something I could never do.

Lilly is pretty good at throwing coins (thanks to our mall trips) and spent a few of Grandma's in the fountain.
This spot is a cool place for a family photo. About 9 1/2 years ago Mike and I had one of our first 'family' photos taken here.
Look how young we were! We are still so happy and much deeper in love.

Lilly had her VERY first haircut today! She did soooooo good, my friend Kim is a hairdresser and she comes to my house to do my hair and I asked if she could give Lilly a trim too. Lilly was so excited and did so good.
Here is the after picture. Kim styled it for Lilly like a princess with bows, per Lilly's request.
